Whole trust score of hospital cleanliness, formulated against Patient Environment Action Team (PEAT) visits. Where there is more than one hospital/site within a Trust, the score for the Trust will be an aggregation of the scores for each site, weighted to take account of the relative size(s) of the hospital/sites assessed.

Construction
Each component of the PEAT review format attracts a score on a 1-4 basis.
Numerator:
The total number of points achieved by each hospital in a Trust multiplied by the number of beds in each hospital.
Denominator:
The total number of beds at the Trust.
An agreed scoring algorithm will then be applied to this score to determine the overall traffic light for the Trust.
